Establishing E-clubs in Schools

Empowering students through technology clubs that foster digital literacy, creativity, and innovation in Ugandan schools.

What are E-clubs?

Student-led technology clubs transforming digital education

E-clubs (Electronic Clubs) are student-led technology clubs established in primary and secondary schools across Uganda. These clubs provide a platform for students to explore technology beyond the standard curriculum, developing practical digital skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in a collaborative environment.

Through e-clubs, students gain hands-on experience with various technologies, from basic computer literacy to coding, robotics, digital content creation, and online safety. The clubs follow a structured yet flexible framework that allows students to pursue their interests while developing essential 21st century skills.

E-clubs complement formal education by providing practical application of theoretical knowledge, fostering innovation, and preparing students for the digital economy. They create a generation of confident, competent, and responsible digital citizens.
