Digital Skilling
In recent years, the Ministry of Education and Sports, Uganda, has prioritised digitalisation as a central pillar of its national development agenda. Despite this commitment, many sectors of the population continue to face significant barriers to digital inclusion - including limited digital literacy, inadequate access to technology, and insufficient training infrastructure.
To address these challenges, this service proposes a nationwide Digital Upskilling Program aimed at equipping individuals - students, educators, civil servants, entrepreneurs, and community members with essential digital skills. By fostering digital literacy and competence across all levels of society, this initiative will enhance personal and professional development, improve service delivery, and support socio-economic transformation in the digital era.
In partnership with Digital Skills Foundation, the program will deliver practical, accessible, and inclusive training that empowers Ugandans to confidently engage with technology. Through this collaborative effort, we aim to cultivate a digitally competent population, ready to thrive in Uganda’s growing digital economy.
